Synopsis :
One evening, in Perigord region of France, a doctor whose marriage is in jeopardy responds to an emergency call at a deserted castle. He comes upon two holdup men fleeing the police, one of whom is badly wounded. This unexpected encounter leads the physician to do whatever he must to save his marriage.
The director
Christophe Laurier
First photographer, then technician for films, Christophe Laurier started directing in the 90's with short films and documentaries. Pression à froid (2001), his third short film was selected in several film festivals. His passion for pop culture, genre cinema and B movies feed his cinematographic universe. Between fantastic, thriller and comedy, he develops in Al Pais a personnal vision about a journey through genres.
