Robert Badinter raconte le sentiment ambivalent qui l'habite lorsqu'il se rend compte qu'en ayant aboli la peine de mort deux ans plus tôt il vient de sauver la vie de celui qui avait signe l’ordre de déportation de son père au camp d'extermination de Sobibor. In 1983 the former head of the Gestapo, Klaus Barbie, was arrested. Robert Badinter recounts the ambivalent feeling he had when he realised that by abolishing the death penalty two years earlier he had just saved the life of the man who had signed his father's deportation order to the Sobibor extermination camp.

The director
Marc Faye Marc Faye is a director and producer who works on different projects dealing with original or real stories. He supports young directors' projects in documentary (Womanhattan, George Hyvernaud, The Chaland Enigma and newly : Alex Barbier and La Révolution des cantines) or animation (Keep Your Hair On, Olivier, Riviera or recently : My Juke-Box and Saigon sur Marne)
Original soundtrack
Thomas Gallet Thomas Gallet has been a composer and sound designer for over ten years. With a classical training in music theory and saxophone (2nd cycle diplomas), he is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist. He has notably worked on the soundtrack of the documentary Please Madam, answer me (Marie-Laure Désidéri, Christian Argentino) 2019, as well as that of the short film My Juke-box (Florentine Grelier) selected at the Césars.
He studied the sound chain with computer-assisted music and then consolidated his technique by recording groups, participating in study projects, in recording studios, to then specialize in the composition of music for images.
