Synopsis :
Alex Barbier gave up on comics and has entitled his latest book The Last Comic. He now devotes himself exclusively to painting. And this film could have been entitled The Last Canvas, since it appears, a posteriori of course, as a testament. In just a few days, the film brings to light both the progressive conception of this last painting, created at arm's length, and the rituals that prevailed during its execution, as well as the artist's questions about his painting, his past work and his life. It also brings to light a singular interplay between the creator (whether a painter or director) and his or her subject...
