Synopsis :
A hypnotic plunge into the evening ,horse-racing events at Vincennes. The highly charged energy of the young punters pervades everything, in what is now a deserted venue.
The director
Matthieu Bareyre
After studying philosophy and working as a film critic (for Critikat, Vertigo and Overflows), Matthieu Bareyre started working as a director. In 2012, he directed his first film Nocturnes, which screened at the 37th Brive European Medium-Length Film Meetings. His latest film, Young and Alive, has been selected to premiere at the Locarno Film Festival in the Filmmakers of the Present section.
