Synopsis :
At New York, Seb, the director of the film was accompaigned by five different lovers during twenty years. Thanks to his archives footage, this movie essay questions the position of this megalopolis in his relationship with his girls friends
The director
Seb Farges
Director, cinematographer and editor, Seb Farges always feels the need to fix the moment. After studying plastic arts, he beggan photography and video for a general public in the early 1990's.
His plastic sensibility guides him toward super 8mm films and in 2009, he got intererested in video development which can be integrated in old reflex photo cameras. The possibility to film with unobtrusive lenses ("the "caméra stylo" -pencil camera- of Astruc) which are lighter and luminous provide to work with an aesthetic which is pulled away from video and getting closer to his first passions : super 8mm films, photography and cinema. He made several film projects and specialised in cinemascope shooting.
